Duties and Responsibilities

The Head of Information Technology will be responsible for managing the daily IT local activities, production and operational requirements. The incumbent in this position is expected to ensure that systems support, application development and the maintenance of the technical infrastructure services meets the requirements of the local unit in accordance with the Global IT policies & procedures. The incumbent is expected to participate in the deployment of wide range of technologies including banking systems and technical services. In light of the matrix structure adopted by the bank, the incumbent should provide regular reports to both head office global information technology and the local unit management.

• Good understanding of banking products and operations;
• Good understanding of new technologies;
• Results orientated with an ability to perform a number of tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high quality of work;
• Good organization, management and planning skills;
• Working efficiently under pressure;
• Working knowledge of project management and associated methodologies, ability to manage entire life cycle from strategy to implementation;
• Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to motivate and manage a team of people;
• Effective communicator in verbal and written form.

Required Skills and Experience

Knowledge

• Detailed knowledge of IT processes and controls;
• Understanding of banking products, Services, processes and controls.

Education / Certifications

• Bac + 5 et plus;

Experience

• 15 Years of information Technology experience;
• 10 Years banking industry experience.

Required Languages

• Arabic, English, French (spoken and written)
