AT A GLANCE

Joining the TUI Destination Experiences team in Tunisia as Accounting Team Leader, you will lead the financial accounting team of this important stand-alone business entity, insuring all transactions are processed in accordance with established local and group accounting policies and procedures. You will also play a key role in financial systems implementation and process efficiency enhancement.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As the Accounting Team Leader, you will contribute with your knowledge to the overall efficient operation of the financial department and you will support the Head of Finance with various reporting and requests.

Your main responsibilities will include supervising and assisting the accounting team with the daily accounting tasks, ensuring a smooth and accurate monthly closing of the books and reviewing bank and GL monthly reconciliations. Further, you will be supervising treasury operations and preparing cash forecasts.

Enforcing strict compliance with company policies and COSO controls as well as leading statutory and tax audits and following-up on audit recommendations will be further role requirements.

Ultimately, you will ensure an accurate and timely filing of all tax declarations and statutory financial statements and contribute to ad-hoc projects and improvement initiatives.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• University degree in Accounting

• four years’ previous experience in similar positions

• Strong accounting and analytical background and sound knowledge in local tax laws and regulations

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office tools and in accounting systems, particularly SAP

• Tourism experience is an asset but not essential

• Proven interpersonal and leadership skills

• Forward thinking by challenging the status quo and identifying opportunities for improvement

• Result oriented with a can-do attitude and a high sense of responsibility

• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work in a multinational and fast-paced environment

• Fluency, verbal and written, in English and French mandatory. Any Arabic language advantageous

• Valid work permit for the country or Tunisian citizenship
