Context   The Organization Founded in February 2015, Impact Foundation for Research and Development (IMPACT) is a youth-led nongovernmental organization that aims to use Research to influence social and economic policies, specifically in Education, Employment and Health sectors.   IMPACT believes in the untapped potential of youth, and seeks to provide mentorship and motivation to mobilize youth to confront local and national challenges. Impact aims to:

• Initiate and support projects of economic, social and cultural development in Tunisia, especially in underprivileged regions.

• Organize and coordinate the efforts of various Research centers, universities and Think Tanks in Tunisia.

• Develop, reinforce and improve the skills and capacities of Research centers and young Researchers in Tunisia.
• Draw attention to the importance of linking Research to development on the economic, social, cultural and environmental levels.

• Draft and develop proposals for laws and policies that promote Research.
• Rationalize public  policies  through  the  involvement  of  Research  in  State reforms.

  [wbcr_html_snippet id="114343"] The project Working Women’s Rights under Scrutiny is a Research – Action project consisting in an evaluation of the rights of threatened workers in Tunisia, through a report that will be written jointly by Impact Foundation for Research and Development, and experts. The project aims to stress the precarious and deplorable conditions of work, endured by women working in the agricultural sector, in the absence of the fundamental rights of workers. With the intention to set in motion an advocacy program that seeks to influence public policies and improve the conditions of these workers, the project will focus precisely on women working in the agricultural sector in the governorate of Jendouba. The project aims also at:

• Sensitize public opinion about the socio-economic conditions of women working in agriculture in the region of Jendouba.
• Produce recommendations for policy makers based on scientific and educational reports that seek to improve the rights of women working in the agricultural sector.

• Develop an  advocacy  program  that  targets  the  economic  empowerment  of women working in agriculture nationwide.
• Reinforce partnership between civil society and the educational sector in Tunisia.

Impact Foundation has conducted a representative survey and two focus groups gathering different stakeholders. The intended report and policy brief should be drafted on the basis of the survey Data, collected and analyzed by our team.   [wbcr_html_snippet id="114343"] Responsibilities: The intended assignment aims to produce a scientific report and a Policy Brief that analyzes the working Women’s Rights in the agriculture sector in Jendouba.
