Finance Officer (National Contract)
We are looking for a highly qualified Finance Officer to join our DRC office in Tunisia.
Who are we?
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a private, independent, humanitarian organization working on all aspects of the refugee cause in more than thirty countries throughout the world. The aim of DRC is to protect refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) against persecution and to promote durable solutions to the problems of forced migration on the basis of humanitarian principles and human rights. DRC works in accordance with the UN Conventions on Refugees and the Code of Conduct for the ICRC and NGOs in Disaster Relief

About the job
The Finance officer, in coordination and cooperation with the program and support team members, and supervised by the Finance Manager Magreb is expected to substantially contribute to:
1. Ensure DRC Maghreb (Algeria, Libya and Tunisia) is compliant with DRC Operations Handbook with regards to financial procedures.
2. Ensure DRC Maghreb is compliant with applicable National and Donor regulations including taxation, social security etc.
Duties and Responsibilities
Day to Day Cash and Bank Management

We offer
DRC will offer the successful applicant a 12 months contract with 3 months’ probation period, renewable depending on both funding and performance. You must be available to start work as soon as possible and be willing and able to work in Tunis, Tunisia.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment for Nationals; please refer to www.drc.ngo under Vacancies. This position will be placed at level C/D dependent on profile.
